Student Athlete

Step 1

E-mail the following information and any questions you have using the contact page and we will get back to you promptly: ​

Step 2

After being invited, Register the student and parent/guardian in Pitzone.

Pay your NICA League Fees below by clicking on the Pit Zone icon below.

NICA League Fees Explained: Event production costs, including timing systems, venue fees, registration processing, race materials, league-wide programming, league-wide planning & communication.

​Note: All student athletes must sign up in NICA Pit Zone, this is a league requirement. ​

Step 3

Sign Up for Spond! (Required for parents/students communication)
Team Director or Head Coach will invite you to Spond.
​
​Spond is a team platform where you receive news and information about your team like events, races and practices, reminders about key dates in your team calendar and you can chat with coaches and athletes and ask questions. This is where you will you RSVP for your practices and/or races (if you decide to race). You can send Group or "one to one" private messages, share photos and videos and even sell your vintage bike. ​​

Step 4

After you are registered in Pit Zone and your NICA League and Race fees are paid, you will pay the Team Dues - $50. Team dues are used for coach training and certifications (Wilderness First Aid, First Aid/CPR), safety equipment for rides, equipment for practices.​

Adult Riders / Coaches

All adults that would like to be involved in some capacity as a coach, ride leader or simply assist with the Team activities during practices and races must register in NICA Pit Zone. This is a League requirement. You must sign up and complete a minimum Level 1 certification. ​
